Soiled By SIn

“But he went in and stood before his master. And Elisha said unto him. Whence comest thou Gehazi? And He said, Thy servant went nowhere” (2 Kings 5:25)

Sin is the transgression of the law of God and rebellion against God. It is Living contrary to God’s word. Gehazi in our text was a servant to the green prophet Elisha. He spends much time with Elisha and would have been very much aware of the dedicated life Elisha lived, yet, he was soiled by sin in his lifetime.
Gehazi’s position would have been the envy of many Israelites! In his days, to be a servant to Elisha was certainly a great honor, yet he failed to take heed to the godly ways of his master. He allowed sin to come between him and God, he manifested a heart that was never brought under the Lordship of the God of Elisha. What about you? Some so many young people are under the Ministry of great men of God but are inwardly soiled by sin like Gehazi. Are you soiled by sin already? Do not linger. Do not delay until sudden destruction comes upon you. Repent now!
Challenge- Are you living contrary to God’s word?
Prayer- Lord, Keep me from sin
